Dr. Andreas Bachmann

Working as laboratory manager and laboratory technician, I dedicate myself to ensure smooth workflows, as well as a safe and respectful working environment in our laboratory, which allow performing science at the high standards of ETH.

It is my passion to integrate a variety of different methods, some of which I had acquired during my Master studies in cell biology and my PhD in chemistry. The amalgamation of chemistry and biology opens a new world of science and applications. My profound background allows me to complement our plant biology experts with a substantial scientific background to support our team with advices and hands-on expertise.

It is my goal to keep growing as a source of inspiration and as a helpful colleague. As such, I am forming the stem and solid base, which allows my colleagues to build their flowers at the top, presenting the best of themselves towards the scientific world.
