Winter Event 2021/2022
On February 10 2022, the Bomblies Group spent a fun evening in "Züri West". We started by playing virtual reality games at VR City. Afterwards we went to the restaurant Kitchen Republic for dinner.
For some of us it was the first time playing a virtual reality game. But even more experienced players had trouble telling the virtual- and real world apart. Some were afraid to climb up a cliff because it was "too high". Brigitte, wavering after jumping over an "abyss", tried to lean on a virtual stone wall for balance and crashed inelegantly to the hard floor of reality... There was also an amazing amount of shouting from Vera and Luisa – two otherwise very quiet and dignified ladies :-).
The polyfun players completed a regular workout, whereas the escape group tried very hard to find a way out of Medusa's cave. It is difficult to say who had more fun. The players, or the onlookers who could enjoy a drink and watch the spectacle from a tribune or the bar.
We then took a 30-minute walk to Kitchen Republic, a restaurant, where you can choose from six different kitchens. The food was good and the interior design mind-boggling! Please scroll down for a few photos of the evening.
