Talk of Adrian Gonzalo Sanchez during the PAG conference in San Diego
From January 13 to 18 2023, the International Plant & Animal Genome Conference took place in the San Diego Convention Center in California.

As an invited speaker, Adrian took part in the Polyploidy Workshop. His talk was titled “Diploidizing Polyploid Meiosis” and was about the manipulation of meiosis to generate more stable newly formed tetraploids, which could be used as a tool to generate new crop varieties. The results presented come from a collaborative project between ETH and colleagues from the University of Birmingham in the UK.
