The antique bowling alley has three lanes and a bar. After 20 seconds, somebody pressed "Bohemian Rhapsody" on the jukebox and the ice was broken... By far the best bowler that evening was our guest Professor Ben Blackman - the rest of us didn't stand a chance!
The food in the Ziegelhütte was outstanding. The restaurant offers seasonal dishes, the produce is purchased mostly locally and processed in house. They have their own vegetable garden and they also like to gather in the woods and meadows. Practically everything is homemade, including the wood-fired bread in winter. The quality and regionality of the food was impressive.
Please find below a few impressions of the evening.
